Adjusting the pan
& zoom regions
To adjust the pan/zoom
regions,
select the slide in the storyboard panel and then select the
'Pan &
zoom' tab option on the
left. The right panel will then overlay two rectangles showing the
start viewing region and the end viewing region.
When
playing, PhotoVidShow will show the slide in the start viewing
region. As it plays, it will pan and zoom such that when it reaches
the end of the slide display time, it will now be at the end
viewing region.
To resize or rotate a region left
click on the region rectangle to bring up the yellow tracker
markers or use the slide bars on the left. To move a region simply
drag the region rectangle to the required location.
To set the time region the pan
zoom effect happens whilst the slide is displayed, slide the 'Start pan time' and 'End pan time' slide bars.
You can also select the type of movement the
pan and zoom will follow going from the start region to the end
region using the 'Movement' options.
To generate a random pan and
zoom effect, left click the
'Generate random
pan/zoom'
button.
By default PhotoVidShow will only apply pan
and zoom effects to the first (and often only) decoration in the
slide. In most cases this is OK, but for more complex slides with
multiple decorations, you may wish to pan and zoom on everything
within the slide. i.e. treat the slide, and it's decorations, as
one whole image. If so, select the 'Pan/zoom on all slide
decorations' button. What this does is
'group' all the decorations within
the slide as one decoration.
To disable pan and zoom for
this slide, select the 'Turn off pan/zoom for this slide'
option.
